Are you looking forward to some nautical adventures this summer? If that’s the case, what do you envision? The possibilities largely hinge on your financial plan since the affluent class will settle for nothing short of a lavish yacht to relish all the pleasures of the elite lifestyle. If your preference leans towards a vessel of a more modest stature, Palm Beach Motor Yachts presents the sophisticated PB85.

This sporty hull is crafted in Australia at a yard led by the iconic professional sailor and boatbuilder Mark Richards. Labeled as the new flagship of the fleet, this model is designed to leave a remarkable impression to attract customers. The unveiling was so recent that it hasn’t even been formally listed on the website at the time of writing.

Richards states, “When the Palm Beach 85 makes her debut, she’ll be the largest yacht we’ve constructed, symbolizing a new standard of luxury, fuel efficiency, and performance within the yachting sector.” Since nobody wishes to dispute a highly esteemed figure in the industry, let’s examine what the PB85 has to offer.

A defining characteristic of any yacht produced by Palm Beach Motor Yachts is the extensive customization options presented to owners. The PB85 follows suit, as nearly every element of the watercraft can be modified to preference. For example, you might opt for a Skylounge or choose to maintain a low profile with the Sedan model.

Another signature element associated with the brand is the application of their proprietary V-Warp technology. This consists of a blend of epoxy resin, foam, and e-glass, leading to a lightweight, resilient, and hydrodynamic hull. At the same time, the superstructure is constructed from carbon fiber. Consequently, the PB85 and the rest of the fleet are reportedly more fuel-efficient compared to their rivals.

If you’re intrigued by performance features, this cruiser is equipped with Volvo Penta propulsion systems. It can reach a maximum speed of 26 knots while sustaining a cruising speed of 23 knots with a range of 200 nautical miles. If the client opts for twin MAN V8 engines instead, the PB85 can comfortably achieve 27.5 knots and cruise at 25 knots, covering a total range of 650 nautical miles.
