    If you’re planning a retreat for this Easter holiday, these luxurious hotel resorts and dining establishments are presenting exclusive meals and activities for an enjoyable family vacation during the springtime.

    CARLSBAD

    While room prices are on the increase, this spring season, Beach Terrace Inn in Carlsbad’s ‘Village by the Sea’ is holding a ‘Fantastic Easter Rate Search’ on March 31. Every Easter Sunday, the cozy oceanfront Beach Terrace Inn in North San Diego unveils numerous hidden beachfront rooms priced at $1 and $99 for travelers to discover and reserve on their website.

    This charming 48-room hotel features generous guest rooms that can be as spacious as 700 square feet. Guests can fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the waves just outside their doorstep.

    A beloved spot at the hotel is by the Shorebreak Pool overlooking the ocean, and in the evening, guests can cozy up by one of the fire pits.

    The discounted rates concealed within the booking calendar are valid for check-ins between April 2024 and December 2024.

    While visiting Carlsbad, witness the vivid and vibrant The Flower Fields, showcasing 50 acres of blooming Ranunculus flowers. This impressive super bloom comprises over 200,000 ranunculus plants per acre. On average, each plant produces 10 blooms, totaling to 2 million blooms per acre. During the peak floral season, the field is alive with around 80 million flowers in full bloom.

    Partake in ‘Picnics + Flowers’ and ‘Tea in the Garden’. Tickets for the upcoming Easter Weekend events and other enriching programs until Mother’s Day weekend must be purchased online.

    HUNTINGTON BEACH

    Famously known as ‘Surf City’, this coastal town offers an array of lavish and unique hotels with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The modern-style Paséa Hotel & Spa is hosting an ‘Easter Brunch & Bubbles’ event on March 31. Situated on the resort’s lawn overlooking the Pacific Ocean, guests will embark on a cheerful day with a sumptuous brunch starting at 10 a.m.

    The Easter-themed festivities include photo opportunities with the Easter bunny, live performances, and unlimited mimosas for adults to savor alongside extravagant seafood and brunch presentations. Indulge in an assortment of breakfast pastries, an avocado toast station, a carving station featuring spring leg of lamb and slow-roasted prime rib, Santa Barbara smoked salmon, among other delectable dishes. There is also a cheese and charcuterie spread, a variety of salads, seasonal fruits, brioche french toast, Piri Piri chicken, heirloom tomato salad, and more.

    Delight in desserts like assorted cupcakes, mini panna cotta, warm chocolate chip cookie sundaes, and s’mores bars. The price for this celebratory brunch is $140 per adult, $65 per child (ages 5-12), and kids under four dine for free. Reservations are necessary.

    SAN DIEGO

    Celebrate Easter weekend at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina on Harbor Island with a vibrant Sunday affair. The newly launched Rumorosa will host its inaugural holiday brunch buffet from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Each adult will receive a welcome drink, and guests will have the chance to meet the Easter Bunny for photos.

    Chef de Cuisine Cesar Oceguera’s Cali-Baja brunch features mini renditions of his famous Concha breakfast sandwich, a carved Barbacoa leg of lamb, a selection of fresh seafood, and petit desserts. Live music will add to the ambiance and dining experience.

    Youthful attendees can partake in either of the two Easter egg hunts, commencing at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.

    The cost for this joyous day is $85 per adult, and $45 per child (ages 6 to 12). Children below five years can indulge without charge.

    BEVERLY HILLS

    The luxurious five-star The Peninsula Beverly Hills is marking Easter Sunday with a variety of family-friendly activities throughout the day.

    Lively guests can start their day with a visit from the Easter Bunny in the lobby, followed by an Easter egg hunt near the Infinity Fountain. Families can then come together for an extravagant four-course Easter brunch crafted by Michelin-starred Chef Ralf Schlegel. The Belvedere menu showcases starters such as mini chocolate croissants, pretzel twists, and Parker House rolls. The spread includes an avocado and citrus salad, roasted lamb, crab cake benedict, and Silver Dollar chocolate chip pancakes among other seasonal delights.

    Conclude the meal with a choice of three desserts, featuring a delicious slice of carrot coconut pineapple cake.

    Seats are available from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations are essential with a rate of $155 for adults and $80 for children.

    MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

    Each of the three Southern California BOA Steakhouses: West Hollywood, Santa Monica, and Manhattan Beach are presenting an Easter Day Brunch Buffet. On March 31, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., guests can enjoy breakfast favorites, freshly prepared salads, a selection of seafood, signature side dishes, desserts, and Easter-themed cocktails. It is recommended to make reservations for this culinary adventure priced at $95 per person.
