When in need of a vessel for more than brief excursions at sea, explorer yachts are the ideal choice. With the correct team spearheading the construction, affluent individuals can order personalized ships filled with opulence and more. The Apollo is a concept that pledges an unforgettable journey for all passengers as it sails across the world’s oceans.
Spanning 295 feet, this magnificent monohull maximizes all available spaces both outside and within its superstructure. Reportedly, this design was requested by a client who desires to incorporate certain features from the British firm’s Thor Explore concept. Nevertheless, there are ample aesthetic distinctions to distinguish it.
Instead of adopting the inverted bow seen in its inspiration, the Apollo showcases a distinctively-shaped front. Its superstructure extends slightly further forward and encompasses seven levels. Unlike its precursor’s flat nautilus windows, Gresham Yacht Design extends the full-beam observation lounge outward slightly.
The upper windows are positioned at an angle, while the deck below features a partially enclosed balcony. Glass railings adorn the perimeters, offering panoramic views of the water below. Situated one deck below this midship attraction are spaces designated for lifeboats. The main lounge boasts numerous intriguing elements like a winter garden and swimming pool.
Owners are treated to a private deck equipped with a lobby, two bathrooms, two dressing rooms, an office, and a terrace featuring a Jacuzzi. Moving to the bridge deck reveals a fire pit accompanied by lounging seats and a frontward viewing area. Additionally, the Apollo flaunts a diving center complete with a decompression chamber, a spa, a cinema, a helipad, and a tender garage, among other amenities. The vessel can house a crew of 40 and accommodate up to 16 guests.
