Suppose someone mentioned that a wagon can be transformed into a formidable racing platform, would you trust them?
Currently, there are numerous aftermarket shops capable of managing these kinds of assignments. Occasionally, certain brands produce official race-ready setups, but in extremely limited quantities. Should you be keen on obtaining one, Audi is presenting the RS 6 Avant GT.
Among German automobile manufacturers, Mercedes-Benz and BMW stand out in the motorsport sector.
Their AMG and M racing divisions are accountable for a consistent release schedule of high-performance enhancement packages for existing models. The launch of the RS 6 Avant GT serves as a reminder that there is another significant competitor to take into account.
This four-door family vehicle has been enhanced with all the features and characteristics a speed enthusiast could ever desire. As mentioned previously, this special edition is limited to 660 units worldwide.
You can expect all the units to be reserved in a brief period, so potential buyers should not delay. Shipping is scheduled for the latter part of this year.
It is equipped with a twin-turbo V8 engine tuned to deliver in excess of 600 horsepower and 627 lb-ft of torque.
Audi emphasizes that the RS 6 Avant GT can complete a zero to 62-mph dash in 3.3 seconds. Additionally, testing indicates a remarkable top speed of 190 mph, a commendable accomplishment considering the original intention of the base vehicle was for leisurely drives.
Audi informs us that the RS 6 Avant GT was a venture inspired by its 1989 Quattro IMSA GTO racer and 2020 RS 6 GTO concept. Other modifications mentioned include side skirt inserts, carbon fiber components, incorporated air outlets behind its 22″ six-spoke wheels, and an exclusive paint job. Estimated pricing should be approximately $236,000.
