2023 is gearing up to be a remarkable year for the world of cars, with a constant stream of outstanding announcements.
There are auctions, innovative ideas, upcoming exhibitions, and unexpected reveals all in the mix. Bizzarrini joins the latter category as it unveils its latest creation – the Giotto. While the market is saturated with luxurious Italian supercars, there is always a demand for more.
For those familiar with the brand’s history, the name pays homage to the founder of the company, Giotto Bizzarrini.
According to the press release, “This exclusive sports car collection is all about Italian aesthetics, exceptional opulence, and an unwavering dedication to driving pleasure. A choice for purists, genuine and exceptionally scarce.”
A single glance at the Giotto reveals the team’s grasp of their objective. Even though Bizzarrini shut its doors and workshops in 1969, it retains a loyal following from vintage and contemporary enthusiasts alike.
Arguably, the most iconic creation from the brand is the Bizzarrini 5300 GT, which serves as the muse for this graceful masterpiece.
Sporting a sleek low-profile design bosting aggressive aerodynamics, this vehicle exudes velocity and agility. The exterior is adorned with smooth contours in all the right spots. Paying homage to its predecessor, the dual vents on the hood that align with the slim LED headlights are a distinctive touch.
The windshield elegantly wraps around the cockpit, interrupted only by the visible A-pillar. Nevertheless, the design remains coherent with its polished form. Specifics on the technical aspects of the powertrain are limited at this point.
Nevertheless, what is known is that it features a V12 engine and an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Save the date for 2024 when the testing phase for the Giotto commences.
