This year’s edition of the Consumer Electronics Show was filled with excitement and unique offerings.
Amidst the usual tech showcases, there were remarkable innovations in sustainable transportation. Although ThirtyC Yacht Design did not exhibit at the trade show, they are now unveiling the Falcon E8.
Alongside unexpected electric vehicle reveals, Candela impressed with the C-8, an electric hydrofoil speedboat developed in collaboration with Polestar to deliver a blend of performance and range.
Now, it is time for the British team to introduce their emission-free vessel.
This 26-foot vessel aims to offset the environmental impact of its parent ship. While emission-free systems have constraints in larger transports unlike land vehicles, experts foresee advancements in scaling the technology for improved efficiency. For now, eco-friendly watercraft such as the Falcon E8 are the ideal choice.
The Falcon E8 from ThirtyC Yacht Design features a sleek monohull design with a plumb bow and a stern absent of transom. The stern includes steps for easy access to and from the rear section, serving as a swim platform for quick dips into the water below. Its teak deck showcases U-shaped seating behind the cockpit.
Vita supplies the Falcon E8 with eco-friendly propulsion systems. The standard model has a 122 horsepower (90 kW) configuration that can reach 172 horsepower (126 kW).
On the other hand, the premium variant boasts 203 horsepower (150 kW) with a peak output of 304 horsepower (220 kW). According to ThirtyC Yacht Design, it can achieve speeds of up to 30 knots with a range of approximately 30 nautical miles.
