As we find ourselves in 2024, the automotive industry is drawing nearer to its complete electrification goal by 2030.
Although numerous companies have already introduced commercial EV models, consumers are yet to witness what the Italian supercar brands have in the pipeline for them in the future. Prior to any official announcement from the Prancing Horse, a French designer conceived a concept known as the Alto.
Several luxury sports car labels are anticipated to unveil their inaugural EVs soon, however, there is presently no precise date set. Instead, engineers are likely deep in the development process, as hybrid powertrains have been in use for some time now.
Meanwhile, Alban Lerailler has presented his interpretation of what Ferrari might produce.
We are undeniably impressed by how unbounded creativity can yield remarkable concepts like the Alto.
In contrast to internal design teams, which are frequently limited by bureaucracy and internal conflicts, freelancers can showcase their skills without any restrictions. Take note of the forceful aerodynamic design of this EV.
You’ll observe that the front section appears more robust than usual, yet it effectively integrates Ferrari attributes throughout its body.
Its flowing lines exude a bold aerodynamic profile, suitable for both urban streets and likely on race tracks as well. As depicted in the sketches, the Alto utilizes custom intakes to redirect air over distinct sections similar to musical wind instruments.
The sound it produces varies in tone based on your driving speed. Furthermore, active aero elements deploy automatically as the Alto gains speed, ensuring it remains firmly grounded and in control at all times.
Although there is no mention of the approximate output of its all-electric drive platform, its sleek silhouette suggests that this attractive sustainable supercar does not compromise on performance.
