Taking cues from aircraft carriers, the final design of this 459-foot monohull took nearly two years to finalize.
As per the official website, key elements of the military vessel such as the tower, bowlines, and upper deck were reinterpreted for leisure and recreational functions.
In resemblance to the superstructure’s positioning on its inspiration, the UAE One situates it asymmetrically towards one side.
Rather than a landing strip, the primary deck includes two helipads to cater to choppers of up to 56 feet. Towards the back is an additional landing spot solely designed for the presidential helicopter, as mentioned by Manca.
Featuring a width of 91 feet, it encompasses 30,139 square feet of teak and spacious outdoor area. Visitors aboard the UAE One can relish amenities like a 60-foot transversal pool, wellness center, spa, and gym, among other facilities.
The bow also showcases a circular seating setup with a fireplace to enjoy captivating 360-degree vistas of the ocean.
This vessel comprises a total of nine decks, 14 minor apartments, five premium suites, eight master cabins, three conference rooms, and a media zone. It demands a team of 65 staff members to handle and upkeep its operations.
