Kia revamped the Telluride last year, introducing a new emblem and a stunning curved digital display that is simple to view and operate. For 2024, amber daytime running lights and a shiny black exterior trim have been added.
Cabin
The cabin exudes luxury, featuring a large curved touchscreen that integrates seamlessly into the interior aesthetics. The exquisite leather seating offers a high level of comfort with lumbar support, driver’s seat memory settings, and both front and second-row seating equipped with heating and ventilation. We also appreciated the video screen rearview mirror and the Driver Talk function, which amplifies the driver’s voice through the stereo speakers, allowing rear passengers to hear clearly.
The V-6 engine delivers a smooth, robust performance, achieving 20 mpg in urban settings and 26 mpg on highways.
Driving is effortless with their driver-assistance technologies, including intelligent cruise control, highway driving assistance for lane transitions, and forward collision prevention featuring cyclist detection. The 12.3-inch touchscreen incorporates Apple Carplay, Android Auto compatibility, and onboard WiFi.
Exterior
The prominent front grille, elevated roof rails, and optional accessories such as bike and kayak carriers, roof cargo baskets, and various roof rack crossbars enhance this model’s appeal and practicality for any journey. The black-painted 20-inch rims further elevate its stylish look.
The starting price for the Kia Telluride SX Prestige X is $54,750.
I thoroughly enjoyed driving this model from LA to San Diego. I found it a more pleasant experience than many luxury SUVs that are significantly more expensive. The cabin was exceedingly comfortable, the technology was user-friendly, and the ride was smooth and delightful with all the driver-assist features.
