Designed by Pete Dye, the legendary Ocean Course has hosted the PGA Championships twice, in 2012 and 2021, and the Ryder Cup in 1991. The course is widely considered the most challenging at Kiawah Island Golf Resort, with the largest selection of seaside holes in the Northern Hemisphere, including ten along the Atlantic that offer unobstructed views. As a result, this golf course experiences more wind than any other in the world, outside of Ireland, requiring players to adjust their clubs by up to eight different levels, according to many golfers who have played here.
TURTLE POINT
Jack Nicklaus designed the intricate and challenging Turtle Point, which features narrow fairways and small greens.
