Kia refreshed the Telluride last year with a new emblem and visually appealing curved digital display that is simple to view and navigate. Notable for 2024 are the amber daytime running lights and glossy black exterior accents.
Interiors
The interior exudes luxury, featuring a user-friendly large touchscreen that is curved and seamlessly integrates into the interior design. The exquisite leather seats provide comfort with lumbar adjustments, driver’s seat memory features, and both front and second-row seats come equipped with heating and ventilation. We also appreciated the video screen rearview mirror and the Driver Talk feature, which conveys the driver’s voice through the stereo speakers, ensuring that passengers in the rear can hear easily.
The V-6 engine delivers a smooth and robust performance, achieving 20 mpg in urban settings and 26 mpg on highways.
Driving is effortless with their driver assistance technologies, including adaptive cruise control, highway driving assistance for lane changes, and forward collision warning with cyclist detection. The 12.3-inch touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and comes with onboard WiFi.
Exterior
The robust front grille, elevated roof rails, and optional accessories such as bike and kayak carriers, roof cargo baskets, and various roof rack crossbars enhance this model’s aesthetic appeal and practicality for any road trip. The 20-inch black-painted wheels further enhance its stylish exterior.
The Kia Telluride SX Prestige X is priced starting at $54,750.
I thoroughly enjoyed driving this model from LA to San Diego. I found it more pleasant to drive than several luxury SUVs that come with a significantly higher price tag. The interior was extremely comfortable, the technology was user-friendly, and the driving experience was smooth and delightful with all the driver assistance features.
