San Francisco’s weekends have been elevated with the fresh BBQ selection at Majestic Steakhouse, available from Friday to Sunday between 11:30am and 3:00pm.
Situated at The Embarcadero along the waterfront, this modern steakhouse presents a distinctive BBQ affair that was born through a collaboration between Chef Colton Hays and the Majestic crew, with numerous weeks dedicated to perfecting the recipes.
Combining stunning vistas with inventive dishes, skillfully crafted drinks, a varied selection of wines, and one of the top outdoor dining spots in San Francisco, Majestic Steakhouse has introduced a diverse BBQ offering designed to captivate even the most discerning diners.
A single serving is priced at $32 and consists of ¼ portion of St. Louis spare ribs, 7 oz smoked brisket, ½ house-created spicy sausage, coleslaw on the side, Texas toast, homemade pickles, and house-made BBQ sauce. Alternatively, a double portion is also on offer for $58. The St. Louis spareribs are marinated for forty-eight hours with an exclusive dry rub before being expertly smoked for eight hours. The brisket is delicately marinated using a special black peppercorn dry rub and smoked for a total of fourteen hours.
Chef Colton Hays brings over two decades of culinary expertise to his position as the Chef de Cuisine at Majestic Steakhouse. In the year 2021, he was recruited by Tyler Florence to join the opening team of Miller & Lux, a fresh American steakhouse in San Francisco. As the head chef, he curated the menu and successfully led the launch of the acclaimed restaurant at Chase Center. Colton is passionate about discovering innovative approaches to blend fresh ingredients and complementary flavors into the offerings at Majestic and is thrilled to now realize this project of passion.
Focusing on sustainability, Majestic Steakhouse has opted to source all local and fresh ingredients, obtaining the ribs from their partners at Rancho Llano Seco in Chico and the brisket from Flannery Beef in San Rafael. The new BBQ menu is an addition to Majestic’s regular brunch selections.
