There is a new restaurant called PLS on Post at Hotel Zeppelin in San Francisco. They specialize in serving the best smash burgers, shakes, Americana fare, and amazing cocktails.
The restaurant’s name, PLS, stands for “peace, love, and soul,” which pays tribute to San Francisco’s 1960s counterculture tradition. It offers a welcoming and laid-back atmosphere, along with indulgent shakes and delicious smash burgers that cater to both meat eaters and vegetarians.
Chef Thomas Weibull, known for his work at Dirty Habit, is in charge of the kitchen. The menu features six smash burgers, three sides, and an impressive selection of seven milkshake flavors.
The burger options include classics like the classic smash with American cheese and onions, a blue cheese variation with Mission fig mayo, and a Korean-inspired version with sharp cheddar cheese and gochujang barbecue glaze. The sides include fries, pickled vegetables, and chips with guacamole, but the real highlights are the over-the-top milkshakes.
One of the fan favorites is the Choco-Nut shake, served in a chocolate-rimmed glass and topped with peanut butter, hot fudge, and Reese’s Pieces candy.
