Virgin Atlantic is set to inaugurate its newest Clubhouse at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) in the first quarter of 2025 (pending complete city council endorsement). Situated in the Tom Bradley International Terminal, the lounge will highlight the airline’s acclaimed experience, accentuated by elements that reflect the vibrant and sunny spirit of the entertainment hub. Passengers en route to London and beyond can relish the airline’s upscale, tailored service just a stone’s throw from the Virgin Atlantic gates.
“We’re excited to introduce our award-winning Clubhouse in the lively entertainment capital of Los Angeles, where both business and leisure travelers can appreciate our offering before their journey across the ocean,” remarked Corneel Koster, Chief Customer & Operating Officer of Virgin Atlantic.
Featuring a spacious bar and communal area with table service dining selections and exclusive venues like ‘The Royal Box,’ the clubhouse will also provide adaptable seating arrangements to work, dine, and socialize. Mirroring the airline’s celebrated London Heathrow Clubhouse, the expansive cocktail bar’s skilled mixologists will be crafting popular customer favorites, including the renowned Virgin Redhead.
“Our newest Clubhouse will present something unique for every guest, featuring signature dishes, British designer touches, alongside delightful surprises characteristic of Virgin Atlantic. We are confident that our fantastic teams will create an extraordinary experience,’ Koster stated.
Alongside areas for relaxation, work, and dining, the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse will feature showers and changing facilities for those wishing to refresh before proceeding to their next stop. The decor will celebrate the City of Angels with local art and inspired mood lighting, providing guests a glimpse of the California sunset as they unwind. Visitors to the lounge will also benefit from private pods for making calls in serene environments, abundant power outlets, wireless charging, Bluetooth connectivity, and additional amenities.
Expected to operate daily, access to the Virgin Atlantic LAX Clubhouse is designated for travelers who satisfy the following criteria.
- Passengers flying in Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic + one companion traveling with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines
- Members of Virgin Atlantic Flying Club Gold Card + one guest flying internationally with Virgin Atlantic or Delta Air Lines
- Delta One passengers on a Delta Air Lines international journey
- SkyTeam Elite Plus members flying on Virgin Atlantic or Delta + one guest traveling on an international flight operated by a SkyTeam airline
- Passengers connecting domestically must be on the same day itinerary and ticket
