The Flower Fields in Carlsbad, San Diego is commemorating a “spectrum of ranunculus” this year, as a surplus of rainfall has led to sturdier stems and more vivid colors, as per The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch’s Chief Executive, Fred Clarke.
This year’s motif is “Embrace Diversity of Colors,” and the revival of Art Alive has been honored with a mural at The Flower Fields, crafted by San Diego painter, Thao Huynh French. The mural is a contemplative communal retreat within the Butterfly Garden precinct, and French expressed that amidst the relentless stimuli, diversions, and pandemonium of today’s world, this masterpiece serves as a haven for the psyche and spirit. Guests can also engage in immersive affairs and undertakings that embrace the current year’s theme, featuring wine sampling, floral arrangement workshops, and plant-focused yoga sessions.
The Art Alive 2023 affair, which aids in the support of The San Diego Museum of Art’s displays, educational initiatives, and community programs, is scheduled from 30 March to 2 April.
